Heather started dancing at the age of 3 and at age 12 began training with the Rochester City Ballet. She trained and performed with the internationally acclaimed company for several years, often dancing 7 days a week. Later, Heather switched gears and took up rowing competitively. She was on her hometown’s crew team which placed second in the New York State Championships. Througout college, Heather took private Pilates lessons on the Reformer to keep in shape, and when home for the summers, coached a winning crew team.
Heather has worked as a personal trainer at several high end fitness centers where she has catered to clients with varying needs. She has trained clients with ages ranging from 12 to 98 years old. She has had the opportunity to train all the levels of the fitness spectrum such as marathon runners, junior Olympians, weight-loss clients, recovering heart surgery patients, post physical-therapy clients and diabetics.
In addition to her passion for training others, Heather loves learning new sports, attending workshops in health and nutrition, spending time with friends and family, and enjoying downtown Boston.
